How to include documents in Joomla's search?

The search plugin is installed automatically during the installation of DOCman.

DOCman 1.4

To be able to use Joomla's search feature to find DOCman items in DOCman 1.4.x , you need to install the separate search plugin. You can find it at http://www.joomladocman.com. The file you need is called bot_docman_search_....zip. Install it as a regular joomla plugin. Don't forget to publish it.
